A mother and her son had to be hospitalised with serious injuries after they were knocked down from behind by a Mahindra Scorpio car in Ahmedabad in Gujarat on Sunday.
Ever since the unfortunate event happened, a video that captured the moment the car, identify with the registration number of XY 214NK, knocked down the woman and her son when she was walking with her husband has made rounds on social media. But, thankfully, the man was not injured in the accident.

This hit-and-run accident occurred at Science City road, Ahmedabad when Ranjitsinh Bhulgariya of 38 years along with his wife Jivuben and son Pratiraj were walking after their parked bike at Umiya Circle.
It has been alleged that the driver ran away from the scene immediately after the crash.
According to a complaint lodged by Bhulgariya, the car knocked down his wife and son from behind, briefly stopped and then reversed and drove away. However, Bhulgariya survived the attack to pull his wife and son out of under the car before the driver escaped.
It is said that Pratiraj’s head, chest, and liver had to be bound and his wife’s head was injured and her back was also fractured.
Shortly after the accident both of them were taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
Cops examining CCTV footage
In its current state, the police are reporting the occurrence from the perspectives of the CCTV. There are attempts being made to search for the driver with a view of arresting him or her.
