Rajasthan: Recently there has been a controversy in the Rajasthan BJP by sharing the video of Natha Khan on the Social media platform. After that video was released, the BJP party dismissed Natha from his employment with the organization.
Rajasthan: A video of Rajasthan BJP leader Natha Khan has recently got viral on the social media platforms and created controversy in the BJP party. After this video became public, the BJP decided to sack Natha Khan from his position of work. However, boasting about it, Natha Khan who was the district president of the BJP Rural Minority Front averred that the woman who has been seen in the video is his wife. He also said that someone intentionally spread the video on a mobile from his side and he will take legal action on it.
This viral video of BJP leader is a special kind of viral video in so many ways I can hardly think how to describe it.
By the received information this video was shared in a whts app group named Kurabad-Bambora Natha Khan mobile at 10 PM on Monday night. Some of the members of the group later told him about it but by the time they did so the clip had been posted on the internet and people had started downloading the clip. But unfortunately by the time Natha Khan had deleted it from the group within a minute, it was viral. This in turn post a negative image of the khan and the party acted swiftly by ousting him from his position because of the video.
Natha Khan’s clarification and the threat of a legal lawsuit.
Reacting to this statement, Natha Khan recorded a 57 second video in which he explained further about his statement that went viral. The man said that the woman that appears in the video is his wife and this is his own private life. He stated that he has a mobile number and somebody is using this number to make this video viral with an aim of compromising his character. He also mentioned that he will inquire into the incident and the move he will take against the culprit will be severe. Therefore, he maintained that some of his opponents are plotting to develop dirty caricatures of him.
Nath Khan has also been a powerful stake holder of the party.
Natha Khan has also been a leader of BJP especially during his time while the image of Natha Khan has been so strong in BJP. It was the third time in the last decade when he was appointed as the District President of BJP Rural Minority Front. His family too has had very influential political ‘bases’ in the region. His daughter in law Asma Khan was elected as Panchayat Samiti through BJP ticket in the year 2015 but she turned against BJP and secured the post of independent Pradhan. Since this video has been produced, Natha Khan’s political image seems to be in a very bad shape.

After this, the Udaipur BJP Rural District President Dr Chandragupta Singh Chauhan further stated that as soon as the video was uploaded, the party did not wait and thus the post of Natha Khan was terminated. He also added that the party will not accept any such issue and will also not allow anybody to set up controversies that affect its image. Natha Khan’s case can interfere not only with his image but with the reputation of the party; that is why the party has responded urgently.
This entire episode has led to tremors in the BJP and the issue has tended to become quite sensitive. This controversy of Natha Khan can raise questions on his political future and one has to wait and see, how he handles this controversy.
